Job Title: Mitigation Manager
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Hours: 8:30AM-5:30PM, M-F
The Mitigation Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating mitigation activities. This role ensures that mitigation projects are planned, executed, and completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead and oversee mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion
• Create and review project estimates
• Conduct site inspections to identify risks and determine appropriate mitigation strategies
• Develop and implement mitigation plans, timelines, and budgets
• Supervise field teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to address challenges or changes
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and policies
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records of all mitigation activities
• Communicate effectively with teams, clients, vendors, and related parties regarding project status
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate rapid mitigation efforts when required
• Train and mentor staff on mitigation procedures, safety practices, and equipment use
• May provide hands-on field support as needed to assist teams and ensure project success
Requirements:
• Experience in managing water, mold, fire, and/or smoke damage restoration projects
• Familiarity with insurance processes and documentation
• Proficiency in creating estimates
• IICRC WRT/FSRT/ASD/AMRT certification would be nice to show industry experience but not required
• Proficiency in DASH, MICA, Xactimate, and Microsoft 365
• Leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Willing to respond to on-call assignments as needed
• A valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
