Job Title: HR Generalist

Pay: $30 – $33 / hour (depending on experience)
Work Schedule: Full-time; hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with options of 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting a small HR team with a wide range of operational and administrative functions. This individual will help ensure smooth HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys multitasking, and is highly detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation, orientations, and exit procedures
- Manage interview scheduling and provide support to the recruiting team, including applicant tracking system updates
- Assist with new hire orientation sessions and employee training enrollment tracking
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and support enrollment activities
- Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Support payroll processing by preparing and validating employee data and changes
- Partner with internal teams to track employee status updates such as promotions, compensation changes, and departmental transfers
- Assist with compliance efforts, including reporting, audits, and maintaining required documentation
- Contribute to planning and execution of internal events, trainings, and staff meetings
- Provide administrative and technical support for virtual meetings and webinars
- Track invoices, maintain documentation, and support general HR administrative needs
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong background in HR operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration
- Experience with HRIS platforms, including ADP Workforce Now (required)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
- Experience transitioning from paper-based to digital HR systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- SHRM certification and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
