Job Responsibilities:
- Performing general ultrasound exams, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams in a timely and complete manner
- Correlation of clinical history to the test that is being performed
- Assuring that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images
- Delivering exceptional customer care
- Working as part of a team, to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed
- Adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in general ultrasound, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams
- High School degree or equivalent
- Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Accreditation by ARDMS or ARRT(S)
- Commitment to quality patient care and exceptional customer service
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal), who can form and maintain effective working relationships with staff, radiologists, referring physicians and patients
- Detail oriented
