Job Summary

Interior Logic Group is looking for a Polisher to join our Granite & Stone Countertop Shop. The Polisher is responsible for refining, smoothing, and finishing stone surfaces to achieve a high-quality, polished look. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various stone materials, including granite, quartz, and marble.

Key Responsibilities

• Polish stone surfaces using hand tools, grinders, and polishing machines.
• Apply the proper finishing techniques to achieve smooth, glossy, or matte surfaces per customer specifications.
• Inspect stone slabs for imperfections, chips, or scratches and correct defects as needed.
• Use diamond pads, polishing compounds, and sealants to enhance the final appearance.
• Operate hand-held and power polishing tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all polished surfaces meet quality control standards before fabrication and installation.
• Assist fabricators and saw operators in handling and positioning stone slabs when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements when handling stone materials and polishing equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in stone polishing, fabrication, or countertop finishing preferred.
• Knowledge of granite, quartz, marble, and natural stone properties.
• Ability to use hand grinders, edge polishing machines, and buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in a shop setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented production environment.
