About the Role
\n
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst / Senior Accountant to support core financial operations across multiple business units. This role sits at the center of finance—owning critical components of the month-end close process, ensuring financial accuracy, and delivering insights that drive business performance.
\n
You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while partnering cross-functionally to solve complex issues, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Do
\nMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting\n
- \n
- Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and roll-forwards to support month-end close
- Own and support close activities across designated accounting areas
- Perform detailed general ledger analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Generate and distribute month-end reports and financial analyses

\nFinancial Analysis & Operations\n

- Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across accounts
- Input and manage financial data within ERP systems
- Develop reporting to support consolidated financial results

\n
\nCross-Functional Partnership\n
- \n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
- Act as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and issue resolution
- Support internal audit requests with documentation and analysis
\n
\n
\n
\nProcess Improvement & Compliance\n
- \n
- Prepare regulatory reporting in line with deadlines and requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
- Participate in ad hoc projects and finance initiatives

Must-Have Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
- Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Deep understanding of financial controls and accounting processes
- Experience performing variance analysis and resolving discrepancies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
