Responsibilities

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Initiate phone calls, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Provides ongoing support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, phone calls, and lead databases.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.


Requirements

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
  • No insurance experience required, but must be willing to learn
  • Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty, and Life, Accident, and Health licenses
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
