Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Initiate phone calls, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities.
- Provides ongoing support to insurance clients as needed.
- Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, phone calls, and lead databases.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Prior Sales Experience.
- Must be highly self-motivated.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Be capable of handling customer rejection.
- Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
- No insurance experience required, but must be willing to learn
- Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty, and Life, Accident, and Health licenses
- Create relationships from a cold start.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
