Job DescriptionMandarin-Speaking Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics

Location: Brooklyn & Staten Island, NY
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract
Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-5:30 PM, including one weekend day

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions.
Provide comprehensive care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
Prescribe medications and appropriate treatments within scope of practice.
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide age-appropriate patient and family education.
Address both physical and behavioral health needs as appropriate.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Qualifications

Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification/licensure.
Board eligible or board qualified.
FNP, PNP, DNP, or PMHNP background.
Fluent in English and Mandarin - required.
Cantonese language skills are preferred.
Pediatric or adolescent healthcare experience preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
