Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide essential speech therapy services in a school setting located in Ventura, CA. This contract position is available through the end of the school year, with potential for extension based on student needs. The school is currently experiencing a backlog in student services, resulting in a high demand for pensatory speech services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students, addressing a range of pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Provide both direct and pensatory speech services to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and other allied health professionals to create effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Support teletherapy services as needed.
  • Work closely with an SLPA, which may be provided to assist with caseloads.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists or appropriate SLPA certification.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology in school and healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge and skills in delivering teletherapy.
  • Experience as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP or supporting CFY clinicians is a plus.
  • Ability to manage pensatory speech services effectively.
  • Strong munication and organizational skills.
