Job Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $60 - $70/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Rotating Day/Night | 3x12 Hours
Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality care to adult acute care patients, monitor telemetry, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Follow patient safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in bedside reporting and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Float to similar patient care units as needed.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
- Minimum 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- Minimum 18 months combined permanent nursing experience in specialty
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- NIHSS Certification
- Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
- Adult acute care experience required
- Ability to complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments
