Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active MA license and ACLS/BLS certification for an evening shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Evening 12-hour shifts from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- 13-week assignment
- Care for diverse emergency room patient population
- Responsibilities include providing high-quality emergency nursing care and responding to diverse, acute patient needs
- Testing for telemetry/ECG and medication administration is pass/fail and will be completed on orientation day
- Comprehensive orientation provided at start of assignment
- All requests for time off must be submitted at time of application
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs

- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required, PALS or ENPC preferred, TNCC preferred
- Must pass telemetry ECG test and medication test on day one of orientation
- COVID-19 vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Applicants must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility as travel, perm, or per diem staff within the past year
