\n\nICU Registered Nurse Job Details\n

\n
• Location: Ranson, WV 25438 (West Virginia healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility Setting: SCU/Telemetry Unit (10 beds: 5 ICU & 5 Telemetry)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/8/2025 – End: 2/7/2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm – 7am), full-time (36 hours/week)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Weekend/Holiday: Rotating weekends and holidays (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)\n
• Charting System: Epic EMR\n

\n\nICU RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
• PALS certification preferred; NIHSS certification a plus\n
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• Strong teamwork and communication skills\n
• Ability to float to MedSurg as needed\n
• Travel nurses must provide neat, navy blue scrubs\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU and telemetry patients, including trauma, respiratory, and post-surgical cases\n
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, Bipap, Cpap, and high-flow oxygen\n
• Administer cardiac drips and medications per physician orders\n
• Collaborate with hospitalists, residents, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR\n
• Participate in unit orientation and adapt to unit needs, including floating to MedSurg\n
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hospital policies\n
