Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oroville, CA, providing services within a school setting on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting pediatric and school-aged populations by delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students specific needs
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
- Accurately monitoring and documenting student progress and outcomes
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective care
- Involving and educating families in the therapeutic process to support student success
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferably holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
This position demands an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state and a relevant Masters degree or higher.
