Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist
Join our organization and make a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work at our facility in Centralia, with additional responsibilities at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. This position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling approximately 36 hours per week, with one day off every other week. Weekend on-call duties will be required for about 5 to 6 weekends each year.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and provide treatment for individuals with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal function, as well as cognitive or communicative challenges.
- Implement therapy interventions using standard techniques tailored to the patient's condition.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to performance improvement guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing patient discharge from speech therapy services.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Frequent use of a keyboard and data entry is expected.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
