Machinist A
Duration: Temp to Perm
Shift: 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm | 2nd Shift 1:45pm-11:15pm (M-F)
· Two openings, one 1st shift & one 2nd shift
· Need DOB (month/day) & last 4 of phone number for security ID in Fieldglass
· RTR Required
· We will run drug tests, employment, education & 7-year background check

· Actual offer will be based on relevant experience, market area, current interested and qualified candidate pool, and other factors. Suppliers** do not promise your contractor a specific amount up front as a potential offer will be based on Parker's formulaic process to ensure equity when making offers. Remember the client's objective within our MSP is to hire direct for most of the roles--that includes this role. The goal of the role is to go permanent, so a supplier can unintentionally set their contractor up for long-term disappointment by failing to acknowledge what the client is willing to pay when the conversion is made.
· Mazak CNC Machinist with Program Set Up Experience:
Overview:
· Operates various conventional and/or numerically controlled machining centers on semi-complex jobs on CNC machines, like lathes, 3 & 5 axis, mills, etc.
· MAZAK Machines are used at the site, amongst others, and additional equipment is coming--if the person has machining experience on a MAZAK make sure to state this on the resume.
· Heavy experience in machine set up.
· (Minimum 5 years of Machining experience, min. 2 years MAZAK specific machining experience are both requirements before PM is able to pass forward your resume for manager review.)
· Works from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipment information.
· Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
· Works with limited guidance in a team environment.
· Machining experience with heavy experience emphasis on Program Set Up. (5 years min machining experience in general, 2 of those years must have been with a MAZAK machine, and at least 1 year must have been independent-unsupervised responsibility to set up MAZAK machine).
· Prior experience with CNC machines such as 3 axis lathes, 5 axis lathes, and mill machines. (5 years minimum required.)
· Reads and follows blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
· Has working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, may include trigonometry.
· Able to effectively apply lean initiatives. (KAIZEN a bonus)
Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
