Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Juniata and Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, with travel required between local preschool locations. This itinerant position primarily supports children ages 3 to 5 in various early childhood settings such as preschools and Head Start programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children in multiple community-based sites
- Collaborate with preschool teachers and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Travel locally within Juniata and Mifflin Counties as part of the itinerant schedule
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Educator Credential: Special Education PK-12 (required)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Ability to work in-person and travel within the assigned counties
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Details:
- Location: Juniata and Mifflin Counties, Pennsylvania (preschool and early childhood settings)
- Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week, approximately 21-24 hours weekly (potential for increased hours)
- Contract Dates: ASAP start through June 19, 2026
- This role requires in-person services only
