An opportunity is available near Saginaw, MN, for an on-site paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support for a student within a supportive school environment. This position runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a rewarding contract experience for professionals with a passion for helping students thrive.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings
- Familiarity with individualized education plans or one-on-one student support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff
- Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to individual student needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized assistance to a student during classroom and related activities
- Support academic, behavioral, and social development under the guidance of certified staff
- Assist with classroom organization, learning activities, and adapting materials as needed
- Encourage student participation and independence, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
- Maintain documentation on student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures
