Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable services within a K-12 school setting in Camp Lejeune, NC. This contract position spans the entire school year and involves working onsite for approximately 39 hours weekly. The primary caseload focuses on preschool children, supporting their speech and language development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans
- Monitor progress and document outcomes to ensure effective intervention
- Participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities to continually enhance clinical skills
Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience or training in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare settings
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team
