Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking dedicated Special Education professionals to support Extended School Year (ESY) programs in high school GOALS classrooms and elementary essential skills environments. Key Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience working in special education settings, particularly with ESY programs or comparable caseloads
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students, staff, and families
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those in GOALS or essential skills programs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instructional support in either a high school GOALS classroom or an elementary essential skills setting
- Develop, execute, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver lessons and interventions aligned with students’ specific learning and behavioral requirements
- Track progress, document outcomes, and communicate results to families and staff
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Uphold a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all learners
This assignment runs from June 1 through June 25, Monday to Thursday, for a total of 25 hours per week—leaving your Fridays and weekends free to enjoy your summer.
