Role Description The Physical Therapist role is a part-time, mornings or evenings, on-site position based in Manhasset, NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients with orthopaedic and sports-related conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, updating documentation, and educating patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies. The role also involves close coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes, adherence to clinical and safety protocols, and participation in practice improvement activities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
- Strong skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education and follow-up.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine as it relates to musculoskeletal and sports conditions.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure in New York.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team and manage a varied caseload.
- Experience in orthopaedic or sports physical therapy is preferred.
