Job DescriptionSalary:

A3 Technology, Inc. (A3T) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight for all technical, schedule, and cost performance associated with a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System (NAS) program. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all program activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in alignment with mission objectives, contractual requirements, and customer expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of complex federal programs, the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, and the leadership skills necessary to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic operational environment supporting the FAA.


The Program Manager will lead day-to-day program execution while maintaining full accountability for overall program performance. Responsibilities include overseeing program planning, monitoring technical progress, ensuring schedule adherence, and managing resources to meet contractual commitments. The Program Manager will also maintain close engagement with the FAA program office and other key stakeholders to ensure transparency, proactive issue resolution, and continuous alignment with evolving program priorities. Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership will be essential to ensure successful delivery of program objectives and customer satisfaction.


In addition to managing ongoing program execution, the Program Manager will play an active role in supporting A3Ts long-term growth strategy. This includes identifying and pursuing on-contract growth opportunities, supporting business development initiatives, assisting with the preparation of proposals for related efforts, and helping position the company for successful recompete of existing programs. The Program Manager will work closely with corporate leadership and business development teams to identify strategic opportunities that expand A3Ts capabilities and strengthen its presence supporting FAA modernization initiatives. Financial management is also a key responsibility of this position. The Program Manager will manage program budgets, forecasts, labor utilization, and overall profit and loss (P&L) performance to ensure the program operates efficiently and remains financially successful. This includes monitoring cost performance, managing subcontractor relationships, and ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet program objectives while maintaining profitability.


The Program Manager will work closely with A3T Executive Leadership to ensure consistent communication, coordinated execution, and alignment with corporate objectives. Through strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective collaboration, the Program Manager will play a critical role in ensuring successful outcomes for the customer while advancing A3Ts mission of delivering high-quality technical and operational support to the FAA.


Skills Required:

  • Program and Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex technical programs supporting federal agencies, including management of multiple task orders, subcontractors, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • FAA and NAS Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Airspace System (NAS) operations, and FAA acquisition or modernization programs.
  • Contract and Task Order Management: Experience managing federal contracts, IDIQ task orders, and subcontractor performance while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and deliverables.
  • Financial and Cost Management: Ability to manage program budgets, forecasts, labor utilization, and profit and loss (P&L) performance while ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
  • Schedule and Performance Management: Expertise in developing and managing program schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring on-time delivery of technical and operational objectives.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Ability to identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issues to maintain program performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Written and Oral Communication: Exceptional ability to prepare executive briefings, program reports, and technical documentation for senior government and corporate leadership.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

  • Business Development and Growth: Proven ability to identify on-contract growth opportunities, support proposal development, and contribute to recompete strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Capability to identify opportunities for process improvement, modernization, and operational efficiencies across programs.
  • Stakeholder and Customer Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to interact effectively with government program offices, senior leadership, and industry partners.
  • Team Leadership and Workforce Development: Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience building and managing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.


Work Environment & Travel

  • Work is primarily performed at A3T and FAA facilities.
  • Position requires some travel to FAA facilities throughout the continental US.


Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.


The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidates education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, compensation may be influenced by applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and established contract wage rates.
