Position Details:Sign-On Bonus for Night Shift:
- Graduate Nurse: $10,000
- Experienced Nurse: $13,000
Neuro RN
Available Positions: Full Time and Part Time
Hours: 36 and 24 hours per week, Night ShiftsLocation: Mercy Hospital JeffersonFestus, MO 63028About the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit:
We frequently manage pulmonary conditions such as COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia. Our pulmonary patients may require high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, or have tracheostomies or chest tubes. These cases demand thorough assessments, proactive therapies, and constant nursing vigilance.
We collaborate closely with the Stroke Coordinator to provide care for Acute Stroke and TIA patients, occasionally utilizing tele-neuro services. Neuro patients necessitate regular assessments to detect subtle changes in their condition, and we provide education on stroke awareness.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: It is your responsibility to secure and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
