Energy Gases, Inc. is a family-owned leader in the Syracuse area, providing everything from industrial welding gases to high-end outdoor kitchens. We are looking for a Showroom Sales & Operations Specialist who is ready to be the face of our retail counter and the "hands" behind our premium grill assemblies.
If you’re someone who enjoys talking to local contractors one minute and assembling a precision-engineered Napoleon grill the next, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
- Expert Counter Sales: Assist walk-in customers with gas exchanges, welding supplies, and high-end grill purchases using our POS system.
- Precision Assembly: Use hand tools to assemble and calibrate premium grills (Weber, Napoleon, etc.) for showroom display and customer delivery.
- Propane & Gas Services: Safely fill portable propane cylinders and assist with cylinder exchanges in our yard (Safety training provided!).
- Customer Logistics: Help customers load heavy equipment and tanks into their vehicles with a focus on safety and service.
- Showroom Excellence: Maintain a professional, organized showroom that reflects our reputation as the region’s energy experts.
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical Aptitude: You’re comfortable with a wrench and a screwdriver. You take pride in building things correctly the first time.
- Local Professionalism: You’re a "people person" who can provide top-tier service to our long-standing East Syracuse customer base.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in both a retail and outdoor yard environment.
- Detail-Oriented: You can manage paperwork for gas exchanges and ensure every grill bolt is tightened to spec.
