Residential Service HVAC Technician

Job DescriptionA well-established home services company with decades of history serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area is hiring Residential HVAC Service Technicians to join their Residential Services division. The company provides heating, cooling, plumbing, and related mechanical services to both residential and commercial customers across the DC metro region.

They're looking for experienced technicians who can handle standard to moderately complex technical work across installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, ventilation, and related systems - with strong troubleshooting instincts and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate problems and perform repairs on a variety of residential HVAC systems
- Maintain consistently high service quality
- Meet key productivity metrics and goals set by the company
- Contribute ideas to improve service delivery and the customer experience
- Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines
- Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck

Requirements:

- CFC Universal Certification
- Current HVAC Journeyman License
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Highly organized
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening following an offer of employment
