JOB SUMMARYThe Change Control Specialist will facilitate and oversee product change processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across documentation, product structures, and associated components. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve quality and operational issues in a timely manner. The successful candidate will maintain change process documentation, support configuration management, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the change process by reviewing product structures and information for accuracy.
- Review change requests to ensure documentation is clear, valid, and compliant with change management principles and department procedures.
- Analyze the impact of changes to products, documentation, and components.
- Review changes to determine interchangeability and take appropriate actions.
- Maintain change process documentation to reflect current policies, procedures, and business practices.
- Facilitate resolution of quality and operational issues promptly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, regulatory, and IT teams to drive successful outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a background in Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, or IT preferred.
- Prior experience reviewing engineering changes (drawings, procedures, product structures) with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and tools.
- Prior experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Matrix, Windchill, or SmartSolve preferred.
- Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP preferred.
