Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support K-12 students in a New Mexico public school setting. This contract position runs tentatively from August 4, 2025, through May 29, 2026. The role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services to enhance student participation and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to students across all grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate goals.
- Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Assess students needs through evaluations and ongoing progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active New Mexico State Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in educational or clinical settings.
- Proficiency in writing detailed and compliant IEPs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with school staff and families.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively within the school environment.

- Position is based in Espanola, New Mexico.
