Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate students’ success in the classroom
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and relevant regulations
