Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contract position extending through May 21, 2026. This role focuses primarily on special education evaluations and offers the opportunity to support students across three school buildings in an onsite work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations annually
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
- Participate in monthly team meetings and report directly to the district supervisor
- Ensure compliance with special education laws and eligibility determination procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education law and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse school staff and families
- Commitment to supporting students in a K-12 setting
Location & Schedule:
- Position based onsite in Shelbyville, Indiana
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM
