Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area, supporting students for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite role runs from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offers a dynamic caseload ranging from 25 to 45 students. Assignments may involve varying numbers of schools, providing rich experience across different age groups.
You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals, attending and billing for professional development days as an added advantage. Whether you’re an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow seeking supervisory support, this position nurtures professional growth in a positive and inclusive educational environment.
To be considered, you'll need:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Active Colorado SLP license
- Authorization to work onsite (no virtual or SLPA assignments)
- Satisfactory completion of a district background check and fingerprinting
- School-based speech therapy experience (desired, but open to new professionals with supervision available)
- Availability for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (37.5 hours/week)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate and provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational success
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
