Job Highlights
- Pay: $15/hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Location: Houston, TX
- Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
- Environment: Well-structured quality department with steady workflow
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, purchased parts, subassemblies, and finished goods used in manufacturing decorative lighting.
- Record inspection results accurately using the company’s computer database.
- Participate in creating or revising standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Recommend corrective actions to senior inspectors when necessary.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and written instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while meeting production deadlines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of quality control or inspection experience (receiving inspection preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and arithmetic skills
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
