As part of the Accounting team at Topia, the Senior Accountant ensures accurate financialreporting across multiple entities and currencies. Youll manage core accounting functions,support compliance with US GAAP, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiencyand enable informed business decisions. This position will report directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in executing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuringtimelyandaccuratefinancial reporting across multiple entities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Own deferred revenue schedules and processes inNetsuite, with a strong understanding of ASC 606.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor relationship management.
- Reconcile credit card collection payouts.
- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties.
- Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and resolve bank inquiries.
- Manageaccountsreceivable collections and reconcile cash disbursements, payroll, andcustomeraccounts.
- Review and ensure proper coding of expensesin accordance withcompany policies.
- Maintain vendor records and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue recognition and expense allocation.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits through documentation and analysis.
- Assisttax preparers with the completion and filing of federal, state, and local tax forms.
- Handle foreign currency transactions and support reporting in multiple currencies.
- Maintain accounting processes for multi-entity operations, ensuringaccurateconsolidation and intercompany eliminations.
About You
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or in-house accounting functions,with SaaS experience preferred.
- Familiar with SaaS business models, financial processes, and capable of reviewing,understanding, and making improvements to accounting processes in a SaaSenvironment.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and currency exposure in a global businessenvironment.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
- Strong communicationskills, with the ability to present financial information clearly tonon-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, balancing strategic thinking withtacticalexecution.

Salary range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 + Bonus Eligible
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
