Job Description Anuvia is seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Nursing Supervisor to oversee clinical performance and operational coordination of a contracted nursing services agency, as well as provide leadership to Anuvia-employed nursing staff within select programs. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between Anuvia and the contracted agency, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and integrated medical care delivery across Detox, Residential, Shelter, and ACTT teams. The role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong clinical judgment, administrative insight, and a collaborative spirit.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pmKey ResponsibilitiesOversight of Contracted Nursing Services
- Serve as the organizational lead in managing the relationship with the contracted nursing agency.
- Monitor agency compliance with contractual agreements, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in vendor performance evaluations and recommend corrective actions or contract adjustments when needed.
- Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and integration of contract nurses into Anuvia’s operational workflows and culture.
Supervision of Internal Nursing Operations
- Provide direct supervision to any Anuvia-employed nurses, including those serving the Shelter and ACTT teams (dotted-line reporting).
- Coordinate clinical collaboration between contract staff and Anuvia nursing employees to ensure seamless care transitions and communication.
- Develop and maintain coverage plans that ensure adequate nursing presence across all service lines.
Clinical Quality and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to state nursing board standards, CARF requirements, and internal clinical protocols.
- Oversee medication administration compliance, infection control procedures, and incident reporting processes.
- Conduct periodic audits of nursing documentation, including chart reviews and medication records.
Training and Development
- Lead training initiatives for Anuvia-employed and designated non-medical staff in medication administration, emergency response (First Aid, CPR, AED), and other relevant clinical topics.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director to identify skill gaps and provide targeted development plans.
Administrative and Strategic Responsibilities
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Assurance (QA) efforts, including data collection, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Contribute to the design and revision of policies impacting nursing functions.
- Serve on internal committees and act as a representative voice for nursing across cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: RN required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Active NC Registered Nurse license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Experience managing third-party healthcare vendors or contract staff preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office Suite.
