Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency in a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to automation and system integration, helping to streamline operations and support business growth without increasing administrative overhead.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate existing financial workflows and identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
• Implement QuickBooks integrations to reduce manual invoice entry and enable seamless QB-to-QB transfers.
• Prioritize and execute the integration of intercompany transactions between the farm's QuickBooks system and the main system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in journal entries.
• Assess and address redundancies between Buildertrend and QuickBooks systems to minimize manual processes.
• Develop scalable solutions to support the organization’s goal of increasing revenue while maintaining administrative efficiency.
• Provide actionable recommendations to streamline invoicing and vendor management workflows.
• Monitor financial data for inconsistencies and propose corrective measures.
• Document process improvements and maintain compliance with financial regulations.• Proven experience in accounting roles with expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Buildertrend software.
• Strong background in bank reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process automation opportunities.
• Experience in managing manual invoices and transitioning to automated systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate workflows and propose scalable solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
