Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that materials and finished products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.

You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and leadership to identify issues, drive improvements, and help maintain the highest level of product integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products for quality and compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and more) to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Perform detailed inspections throughout production, including first-piece, in-process, and final checks
• Identify and document defects or non-conformances, and communicate findings clearly
• Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor production processes and suggest improvements for quality and efficiency
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications are a plus)
• 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment (CMM experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience in metal fabrication or stamping is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery and varying temperatures
• Standing for extended periods during inspections
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
