Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a critical illness and rehabilitation setting, emphasizing safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and set achievable health goals.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in compliance with policies.
- Actively participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission onward.
- Communicate effectively changes in patient status with relevant care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Promote a culture of safety encompassing patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
- Maintain professional appearance, attendance, and compliance with hospital standards.
- Engage in professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with experience in critical illness and rehabilitation nursing preferred.
- Competency in nursing assessments, care planning, and patient education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
