Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a critical illness and rehabilitation setting, emphasizing safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and set achievable health goals.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in compliance with policies.
  • Actively participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission onward.
  • Communicate effectively changes in patient status with relevant care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Promote a culture of safety encompassing patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
  • Maintain professional appearance, attendance, and compliance with hospital standards.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current RN licensure with experience in critical illness and rehabilitation nursing preferred.
  • Competency in nursing assessments, care planning, and patient education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, results-focused setting.
