Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Flatbed Fabricator / Assembler role in the Vancouver, WA. Our client is a respected manufacturer known for delivering high-quality truck equipment and custom fabrication solutions. Key Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.

· Perform all necessary setup and layout of equipment and jobs using clamps, fixtures, and other tools according to specifications.

· Assemble flatbeds and related components according to design specifications, including installation of structural components.

· Weld complex projects utilizing MIG and TIG welding processes on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel materials.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively.

· Measure, align, and fit components accurately to ensure proper assembly and compliance with specifications.

· Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify and correct defects or deviations.

· Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

· Collaborate with team members and production staff to meet quality standards, production goals, and deadlines.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed, including modifications, repairs, and adjustments made during assembly.

· Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Prior experience in flatbed assembly is highly preferred.

· Minimum of 1 year of aluminum MIG and TIG welding experience required.

· Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of light-duty and heavy-duty trucks.

· Ability to effectively use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.

· Familiarity with automotive and trailer wiring systems.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
