Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Berlin
Job Type: Full-Time / 8am-3pm
About Us: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a similar role.
Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor staff within the building.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all employees.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure efficient staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their proper usage, storage, and maintenance.
- Perform Housekeeping duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, infection control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, patients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies or urgent situations as needed.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, and managing departmental operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
