Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.25 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)

A Brief Overview

As a Radiation Therapist, you will deliver daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients, collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists and Physicists. Your role will involve:

What You Will Do

  • Deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation doses and accurately monitor and document each treatment.
  • Utilize your technical knowledge to assist in clinical treatment set-up and patient care.
  • Make informed decisions regarding patient care, including nutritional and skin care guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and physicians regarding treatment concerns.
  • Manage patient scheduling and provide clear communication with patients and families.
  • Provide patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary.
  • Perform computed tomography scans simulations (CT Sims) with minimal supervision.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Associate's Degree from an Accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology
  • Radiation Therapy (T) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree from an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
