Position: Staffing Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule: M-F 8:30-5:30pm

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 DOE

Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


Description:

· Monitor staffing outages and execute strategies to ensure centers are fully staffed and adequately staffed with qualified personnel.

· Effectively and professionally communicate all staffing outages with a sense of urgency to ensure coverage options are discussed internally as needed.

· Maintain exceptional communication regarding outages with corporate nursing, client services, regional nurse managers, and sites accordingly.

· Serve on an after-hours on call rotation for the staffing hotline.

· Verify employee timecards to ensure accuracy of time worked, labor allocation management, and on call/call back hours entry completed by the employee.

· Assist with management of department operations and expense reporting for nurse field personnel in accordance with payroll and accounting deadlines.

· Ensure employee confidentiality related to personal and/or health concerns are protected.

· Comfortable managing complex situations utilizing critical thinking skills and established professional relationships with managers.

· Other duties as assigned.

· As a part of your job, you will receive protected health information. It is your duty to

· comply with HIPAA in using and disclosing that protected health information.


Requirements:

· Complete hours toward Bachelor's degree (B. A.); or recent related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
