Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is currently hiring an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a 13-week opportunity in Wayne, NJ! This position is looking for both an NJ and KY licensure to cover prescription verification and compounding for the Kentucky region. Schedule/Shift: Full-time, Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm).

Position Overview:

The pharmacy team includes 7 technicians, 4 pharmacists, a Director of Pharmacy (DOP), and a Pharmacy Coordinator.
Ensure adherence to USP <797> and <800>, as well as state, federal, and accreditation standards for sterile and hazardous compounding.
Manage high-volume injection services (250300 weekly) and oversee in-home intrathecal pump therapy.
Evaluate and authorize patient care plans, confirming appropriate drug therapy, dosage, and medication compatibility.
Provide leadership and operational support to pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.

Requirements:

ActiveNJ & KYpharmacist licenses.
Experience with verification of sterile medications required.
Management/Pharmacist in Charge experience a plus.
IV Compounding experience a plus.
Local candidates only.
Clinical knowledge and understanding of sterile injections.
