Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer skills include, but not limited to Excel, MS Word, JD Edwards
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
- Ability to balance multiple tasks
- Experience in J.I.T. Automotive Manufacturing Environment
- Knowledge of T.P.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Planning and Scheduling methodology
Responsibilities: Pre-Production Planner has following responsibilities up to and during SOP.

1.
Develop and coordinate Labor, Material and Capacity requirements to meet Customer demands. Communicate changes and coordinate required adjustments with all concerned departments.
2.
Coordinate and communicate inter-companies activities for production and delivery expectations during Pre-Production phase
3.
Communicate and follow up on production and delivery expectations during Pre-Production phase.
4.
Responsible for coordinating, setting up and maintaining accurate data in TGASK’s integrated manufacturing system (JDE).
5.
Responsible for tracking and reporting of delivery and inventory during SOP. Maintain Visual Controls indicators leading up to SOP.
6.
Receive and store trial materials and coordinate with concerned departments.
7.
Responsible for planning of Customer containers during Pre-Production phase.
8.
Responsible for identifying potential problems or abnormal conditions that may impact our ability to meet Customer requirements and establishing countermeasures and corrective action.
9.
Develop, maintain and audit all required Standard Work Instructions that pertain to Pre-Production Planning that supports TGASK, TS16949 and MMOG requirements.
10.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
