Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current and valid RN license in good standing in New York State.
- Experience with geriatric patients preferred but not required.
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly and chronically ill residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of nursing theory, infection prevention, and resident care standards.
What you’ll do
- Deliver quality nursing care, administer medications, and document care accurately.
- Report patient observations and changes to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Unit Manager.
- Support residents’ daily needs and ensure timely response to concerns.
- Coordinate CNA assignments, monitor care delivery, and ensure completion of ADL documentation.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and punctuality in all duties.
