Job DescriptionThe Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates supporting the Engineering team that has an opening for LAB Technician III in Maplewood, MN!
Position Summary:
A Technician is needed to support or lead the development of new products within the Energy Markets sector. This role involves hands-on testing of prototype products and participation in pilot line trials to inform material and design decisions, particularly for applications in electric vehicles.
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $22 to $27/hour on W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to perform experiments and product testing
- Record observations and results accurately in technical notebooks
- Assist in data analysis and preparation of technical reports
- Communicate test results clearly to project stakeholders
- Coordinate calibration of lab equipment to ensure test accuracy
- Perform general laboratory duties, including organizing, storing, and shipping samples
- Operate machinery and equipment in pilot production environments
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a laboratory setting (private sector, academic, government, or military)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Comfortable in a team-based, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Experience with adhesives, tapes, or similar materials
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
