Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager specializing in Private Equity to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements and provide strategic oversight, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for private equity clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and implement audit plans and risk assessments tailored to private equity and hedge fund operations.
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their professional development.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC and PCAOB regulations.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the private equity and hedge fund sectors.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in audit management, preferably in financial services or private equity.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC and PCAOB regulations relevant to audit processes.
  • Experience working with private equity, hedge funds, and fund of funds is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and tools, along with strong analytical skills.
