We are looking for a dedicated and safety-minded Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join their Service Division in the Austin area. This position is responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on commercial roof systems, ensuring work meets company standards of excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn Clients’ repair processes through hands-on training and continuous development.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and Coatings.
Conduct on-site inspections to identify roof damage and recommend appropriate repair methods.
Safely operate tools, equipment, and materials required for commercial roof repair and service work.
Document repair details, materials used, and time spent per job for accurate service reporting.
Communicate effectively with the Service Team, Project Managers, and customers regarding project status and site conditions.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, working condition.
Participate in ongoing training to develop proficiency in Clients’ standard repair methods and quality expectations.
Ideally come from Commercial Roofing Industry and background, but not required — training provided for qualified candidates.
Could take someone with just service tech experience and train them
A basic understanding of roof systems, materials, and safety practices is ideal.
Good understanding of OSHA safety principles.
Other repair experience is ok as long as you are comfortable with heights/ladders and working out in all kinds of weather
Must have a valid Driver’s license and clean record
Good communication skill set, Personable enough to speak with client directly
Dependable, Adaptable, Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Travel Daily out in the central TX area to clients

This position requires the ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform physical tasks outdoors.
