Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

\n

• Work 40-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with 45-minute meal break
\n• No call or weekend requirements
\n• Floating to other units required based on facility needs
\n• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer
\n• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: ARDMS FE, NT (Nuchal Translucency)
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• GE equipment experience required
\n• Scrubs not provided - any color acceptable
\n• Required skills include high risk OB and outpatient gynecology
\n• General ultrasound skills: abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen
\n• OB/GYN skills: 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, placenta previa
\n• Neonatal skills: bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, heart
\n• Renal/pelvis skills: bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal
\n• Small parts skills: breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thyroid
\n• Perform level 1 OB scans and GYN scans
\n• May be assigned to storm team or hurricane team during catastrophic events
\n• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week per fatigue policy
\n• Must complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
