Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic team at Mintáhoe. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests, at the Archdiocese of St. Paul.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute menu items efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety practices.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations including ordering items to complete lunches and dinners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work (every week) Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday. 9:00am-6:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 – 36 per week
