Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available near Peterborough, NH, for a PCA/Paraprofessional to work 1:1 with a student in a life skills program. Your dedication will play a vital role for a student who requires both academic support and assistance with daily living activities. Certified LNAs or CNAs are also encouraged to apply, as your expertise is valued in this setting.
This full-time assignment runs Monday through Friday, from 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m., beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, PCA, LNA, or CNA
- Strong commitment to supporting students with special needs
- Knowledge of academic assistance and life skills classroom settings
- Comfort with personal hygiene support, including toileting and positioning plans
- Dependable, compassionate, and adaptable
- Team player with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct 1:1 support for a student in a life skills classroom
- Assisting with classroom activities, assignments, and individual education goals
- Supporting toileting and positioning as per student’s plan
- Encouraging independence and social interaction
- Collaborating with educators and support staff
- Maintaining confidentiality and safety standards
- Documenting daily activities and progress as required
