We are seeking a detail-oriented Aseptic Technician to join our team. You will play a vital role in the validation of new areas, manufacturing equipment, and processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will troubleshoot and resolve deviations, participate in aseptic process simulations, and ensure product quality through in-process inspections and quality control checks. Your contributions will also include completing documentation in adherence to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with initial and subsequent validation of new areas, manufacturing equipment, and processes.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve deviations.
- Participate in aseptic process simulations, media fills, and equipment qualifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections and quality control checks to verify product quality.
- Complete logbook, form, and batch record documentation as required, adhering to strict cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Complete initial aseptic gowning and process qualification; maintain qualification for work within Grade A and Grade B clean environments.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Quality System and applicable cGMPs.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharma, or biotech industry within aseptic clean room environments.
- Knowledge of aseptic gowning techniques, cleanroom protocols, and cGMP.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Understanding of equipment alarms and ability to escalate issues as necessary.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational education is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedules.
Work Environment
Work in a Grade A & B cleanroom, requiring aseptic gowning. The position involves maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict hygiene protocols. Flexibility in shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
