Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Active teaching license from the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) in a designated special education area, such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities
- Commitment to following the school district calendar throughout the academic year
- Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to meet students’ unique learning goals as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, administrators, and families to ensure a comprehensive educational experience
- Conduct assessments and contribute thoughtfully to the IEP development process
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with local and state requirements
- Adapt instructional strategies and supports to ensure equitable access to education for all students
This role offers a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with caseload assigning to be determined prior to your start. The contract covers the 2026-27 academic year, beginning in August and concluding in May, according to the school calendar.
