You run the install. We hand you the keys to a fully stocked van, a schedule of Mitsubishi ductless installs in Brooklyn's brownstone belt, and you take the job from arrival to commissioning: line set routing, condensate, vacuum and pressure test, startup, and walkthrough with the homeowner.
This is craft work for quality clients, not attic crawls and slab grinds. Brownstone installs reward techs who care how the finished job looks.
PAY & PERKS
- $35-40/hr based on experience, plus overtime
- $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid after 90 days)
- Take-home van, fully stocked, you keep it
- Paid Mitsubishi factory training (METUS), building toward Diamond Contractor status
- Year-round work, heat pumps mean no slow season
- Paid sick leave per NYC law
WHAT YOU NEED
- 4+ years HVAC install experience; ductless/mini-split work required
- Can complete a full multi-zone install solo or leading a helper (verified with a paid working-interview day)
- EPA 608 Type II or Universal (required)
- Valid driver's license, clean record (MVR check with your consent)
- OSHA 30 a plus; Mitsubishi/METUS training a big plus
- Comfortable working in occupied, high-end homes: clean, courteous, drop cloths down
